2010 Season Hero Card
On Friday October 22 TimeZoneOne completed the U.S. Army NHRA photo shoot in Brownsburg, Indiana. The shoot was art directed by David McLeod, from TimeZoneOne and photographed by Randy Anderson, from Anderson Studios in Dallas.
“This is quite a complex shoot.” said David. “We spend the better part of a day constructing our own set which can accommodate the 26′ long dragster and ensure that it is looking great all the way along its shiny, black frame.
“While the Dragster is a great looking vehicle, it was built to go fast, not to look pretty. So the aesthetics don’t come together from every angle, which means we need to be quite particular about how we set up each shot. Because we are indoors and there’s only so far we can stand back and it can take a bit of trickery to get the whole vehicle in frame and in focus.
“As well as car shots we are photographing the driver Tony Schumacher. There were also film crews following Tony and photos for Full Throttle energy drink. We were very busy.”
TimeZoneOne has provided creative and production for the U.S. Army’s Race Teams, including NHRA and NASCAR, for the last 6 years. This work supports the Army’s recruitment programs.
