global challenge update

So it is the first full day of wearing my pedometer. GCC reckons you need to take 10,000 steps a day to reap the physical and psychological benefits of walking. Apparently this equates to around 5 miles. So far I have taken 7,633 steps and have yet to walk back to the train station - which is 1.5 miles, so I reckon I will blitz it today. Good on me.
