Today is my last official day and I think last night was the first time it has flet like a reality..

Its been an interesting 4 years spent at TimeZoneOne, when I started the guys were fresh pioneers in the states, now we have our own Tz1 HQ in Chicago, IL. There was only 5 of us in the design room and now according to the latest news reports theres over 30 designers here. I was working on a sweet beige mac in the corner by the server, and freehand was only 2 years out of date.

I’m leaving Christchurch, and of course this thought sparks a little hint of nostalgia in me, so here’s a few things that I will remember fondly;

-  trying to eat cheese in a can squirted from the 4 story high office balcony

- daily massages from Mark

- my morning time with Murray, he usually shows me his new walk he has spent the weekend developing

- sweaty fuusball battles. Long Live the “Warriors of Radness”

- pottering around the sunny shores of new brighton

- surfing the epic southside peaks

- eating al fresco in the Oram gang house (this beautiful place is now for rent)

- racing up to the mountain and the Hororata, chicken and mushroom pies (complete with chicken bones)

- fish and chips, although I had’nt eaten for a year, recently I have binged on this local delicacy

- the smoggy winter chch smell

- and most of all ricky the rock.

bye
