Bliadhna mhath ur !! or more commonly Happy New Year!! My wife and I had the most un-christmassy Christmas and the most un-new yeary New Year. The Kiwi festive season just doesn’t do it for me. Don’t get me wrong, I loved going to the beach on Christmas Day and being able to choose between getting wet and not freezing and laying in the sand and not freezing but  in my “grown-up� years I’ve always considered Christmas as a means to get me through the relentless British Winter. This time Christmas went almost unnoticed! I suppose it’d be a similar gripe with Kiwis spending December in the Northern Hemisphere. We had a great time none-the-less, it was our first Christmas and New Year as a married couple and away from our families back in the land of the brave. We ate, we drank and we Skyped.

As a Zoner I had an excellent festive period. There was loads of effort from everyone, stateside and studio. The American hamper went down brilliantly, although I did come very close to accidentally eating the Peanut Butter flavored dog chews!! Peanut Butter is for human consumption only America!! Dogs can quite easily continue in their existence being blissfully unaware of the delight that is peanut butter. On that note I’ll leave you with this peanut butter treat.

PS unlucky for some Zoners I brought my Flip Video on the Christmas night out so later this week I’ll be exposing those who think they can dance. Be afraid!
