2009 a new zoner year
Posted by timezoneone
Before 2009 begins I would like to reflect on some 2008 highlights for TimeZoneOne.
- We said goodbye to some old Zoners
- We said hello to some new Zoners
- We created wonderful work
- We treated each other with respect
- We worked hard
- We worked smartly
- We were prepared to disagree
- We worked as team
- We took it seriously
- We didn’t take it too seriously
- We wondered and wandered
- We introduced a drinks cart
So how is 2009 looking? Well….
- We have extraordinary Zoners hunting for new opportunities
- We have extraordinary Zoners mustering and branding clients
- We have extraordinary Zoners minding our operational p’s and q’s
- We have extraordinary Zoners creating and making
- We have extraordinary Zoners keeping the bling safe under the company mattress
With this in mind I feel we are in pretty good shape for the New Year.
The recession also gives us unique opportunities with our lower cost business model to offer clients greater value combined with higher quality than they can get elsewhere. This is a message we will be working hard to tell the world far and wide. Deep. Tall and long.Â
On a different subject, I have a cold. And it is a bad one. How bad? This video says it all. Â
Despite being on my death bed I have just enough time to take a letter from one of our readers:
Dear Sir
My name is Brett King.
I like dogs, do you?
Best regards,
Brett King
Thanks for this letter Brett. Yes I like dogs, especially with mustard and onions.
Chicago is the world capital of hot dogs and the key to making friends in the Windy City is to never ask for ketchup on your hot dog. This is taboo and if you do Bugsy Malone will return from the great speakeasy in the sky to splurge you down.
If you want a Chicago hot dog with everything on it you should ask for it ‘dragged through the garden’. Which oddly enough Brett, is how you sometimes look in the morning.
