new zealand golfers on the world stage
New Zealand - a country of around 4.26 million people has produced some outstanding golfing talent over the last 50 or so years. Please indulge me with a short history of some notable New Zealand golfers…
Golf in New Zealand has to start with Sir Bob Charles. Sir Bob put golf on the map in New Zealand. Sir […]

It was a day that New Zealand had their most successful single day in the Summer Olympic history. It was a morning of success where New Zealand athletes won two golds, one silver and two […]

favorite current tvc
My current favorite TVC at the moment is Pink Batts here in New Zealand. For those of you who don’t know, Pink Batts are thermal insulation for keeping your home warm. Really quite a boring and unattractive product, a pink fluffy square. A problem a lot of good TVC’s face is you watch the ad, think it’s great but can’t recall the company or product. all things chinese
Since we are all consumed watching the Olympics this week, I thought it would be interesting to share some random facts on the Olympic host, China.
The population of China is 1.3 billion, approximately 20% of the world’s population.
Paper was first invented in China 105 AD. Paper, The Compass, Explosive Powder and Printing are considered the […]

dr. doogie howser in dr. horrible’s sing-along blog
Here’s a great example of internet television production and distribution. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is a 43-minute tragicomic musical produced exclusively for Internet distribution. It stars Neil Patrick “doogie howser” Harris and tells the story of Dr. Horrible (Billy), an aspiring supervillain, Captain Hammer, his nemesis, and Penny, their mutual love interest.
The movie was written by […]

ferris bueller’s day off
Is Ferris Bueller’s Day Off the best movie of a generation? In 2000, readers of Total Film magazine voted Ferris Bueller’s Day Off the 23rd greatest comedy film of all time, and in 2005 an Empire magazine article declared Ferris Bueller’s Day Off the number one teen film of all time.
Ferris Bueller delivers the […]
