flexibility, the key to a zen-zone workplace
Posted by timezoneone under Timezoneone, The New World
Driving to work this morning, I had time to reflect on the chaos of my usual morning household routine. In between school lunches, washing, breakfast and refereeing, I managed to get myself ready and into a creative frame of mind. I am forever thankful that Timezoneone has a flexible workplace culture.
Increasingly in todays working environment where employees have very full, sometimes hectic lifestyles, having a flexible workplace that accommodates peoples diverse needs can be very beneficial to both employees and the employer.
At Timezoneone, flexibility is a key factor to the success of the business. It is a necessity to accommodate our diverse client base as well as managing the difference in time zones. Many zoners choose to work an extended working day and work a four-day week. Others work on Saturday so we can still have contact with our US team. This flexible workplace culture has been a very forward thinking strategy adopted by Timezoneone and has helped with staff retention as well as efficiency and overall communication within the business.
