Mt Cook as seen during TimeZoneSun 2007

Each year the TimeZoneOne teams packs up our bags, shuts the door and heads off on TimeZoneSun. This is a week long creative libation where we recharge our batteries, breathe in fresh air and spend time getting to know each other better.

TimeZoneSun is a key part of what makes TimeZoneOne extraordinary. In our “fast turn around yet be very creative you only have two days” business it is invaluable in building the friendships between the Chicago Zoners and the New Zealand Zoners which can come under pressure when the heat is on.

Last year for TimeZoneSun we toured the South Island of NZ for a week. We flew ski-planes and landed on mountain tops, we rode motorbikes through rivers, we wrote poetry, we marveled at the scenery (click on the photo of Mt Cook) we caught sheep, we ate huhu grubs (see photo), we climbed up glaciers, we patted eels, we paddled canoes, we created interpretative dances and we had a few drinks. And a few more. Not very tasty NZ Huhu grub

TimeZoneSun is an uplifting, exhausting, clear-the-mind and freshen-the-soul blast. Afterwards we feel energized about ourselves, each other, our work and our creativity.

TimeZoneSun is one of the many reasons why our work, our creativity, is Fresh - not frozen.
