top 10 uses for kiwifruit
Posted by timezoneone under Fresh, Timezoneone, New Zealand
The kiwifruit is TimeZoneOne’s official fruit, so today we’re taking a look at what makes this furry little berry so special. Here are the top 10 things you can do with a humble kiwifruit:
#10. PREVENT SCURVY: Although Captain Cook’s Spruce Beer is a great way to prevent Scurvy, if you need to drive home after a long day of mapping new lands in the southern ocean, you might like to consider the kiwifruit which has 1.5 times the U.S. RDI of vitamin C.
#9. MAINTAIN YOUR YOUTHFUL APPEARANCE : Zoners in the know eat their kiwifruit fur and all, because kiwifruit skin is packed with antioxidants.
#8. RELIEVE STRESS: Like an organic stress ball, give on of these a squeeze and feel your worries splurt away.
#7. EXFOLIATE: Not only will your skin be feeling fresh and youthful after all the antioxidants you’ve consumed, but the rough, furry texture of the kiwifruit makes them great for exfoliating.
#6. STAY REGULAR: Kiwifruit is a great source of dietary fibre. Enough said.
#5. CREATE A TOURIST ATTRACTION: Good on ya Te Puke.
#4. MAKE NIFTY KIWI ILLUSTRATIONS:
#3. PRACTICE GOALKICKING IN THE OFFICE: Their oval shape makes them a good substitute for a rugby ball that won’t break anything if it comes off the upright awkwardly.
#2. DISPLAY YOUR PHOTOS: Impress your friends with these neat photoholders.
#1. BE CREATIVE: That’s what we do every day at TimeZoneOne, Kiwifruit is a good source of omega-3 which is great for the grey matter. The juice may also have creative properties. BlogMaster McLeod.
